Hello friends!

I really just want to share my heart with going on the world race next year. I'm trying to be open and honest, and I think my biggest challenge this year will be fundraising for the race but I am fully confident that God will provide and I'm excited to come up with fun and creative ways to fundraise.

As I keep thinking about the trip, next August does not seem that far away and the nine months is starting to look like a long time. I know it will be a challenge being away from my friends and family, but I also know I will really enjoy the work and fun stuff I will be doing in each country. From looking at other racers blogs and resources from the world race I know that we will be doing construction, setting up vacation bible school, evangelism outreaches, and just building relationships with the people around us and learning the culture. I will try to learn more in detail about what we will be doing on the daily so I can let you guys know.

I am so excited to be able to go to each country and I know that I will enjoy the ministry as well as any extra bonding activities the racers will do together.
